Canadian rapper Maestro [Fresh Wes] is full of rapping power on Built To Last, but he is more concerned with flaunting his style and lyrical gift on this album than providing deeper meaning. Not terrible by any stretch, but not fantastic. Maestro's earliest work is definitely his best. This project showcases Maestro more as a smooth, soul-type/RNB-type rapper than as a hardcore rapper which is how he became famous.
