Here, he finally brings the grooves properly. The ten minute opener, the closer, and A3 are all bangers. Kenneth Jenkins's playing some outrageous bass on most of these. Bob King's guitarwork is phenomenal, particularly on the opener, and his track The Lady Sirro is quite pretty if very brief. B2's been sampled a million times. The only track here that doesn't really work is the left-field blues shuffle of B3, but even that track isn't bad. None of these are.
