This 2006 mix is an improvement on Jazz's "Hip Hop Forever II" mix, with stronger tracks (Gang Starr, Black Sheep, Main Source, Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest) and more adventurous turntablism. Jazz has the ability to breathe new life into the tracks with his first-rate cutting and scratching, and the end result is sometimes as original as a remix, particularly his jaw-dropping re-introduction to Main Source's "Looking At The Front Door". A few mediocre tracks on the mix, and Jazz's turntable trickery can at times be overbearing, but a very good mix of classic hop hop overall.
